MAS has recently launched a series of ESG-focused initiatives, including <a href=\"https:\/\/www.esgtoday.com\/singapore-financial-regulator-to-launch-esg-disclosure-and-data-platforms\/\">Project Greenprint<\/a>, which is aimed at helping to mobilize capital for green and sustainable finance by harnessing technology and data and create a more transparent, trusted and efficient ESG ecosystem.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tan joined MAS in 2015, and has most recently been serving as Assistant Managing Director &#8211; Development and International, oversees strategies to develop Singapore as an international financial center, including sustainable finance capabilities and solutions. She currently chairs the ASEAN Taxonomy Board work group developing the ASEAN Taxonomy Plus Standards and serves on the Advisory Board of the Singapore Green Finance Centre.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tan will continue with her responsibilities with the Development and International Group, which will work with the Sustainability Group on the development of a sustainable finance ecosystem and help support the region\u2019s net zero transition. The Sustainability Group will also work with Financial Supervision Group to strengthen the climate resilience of Singapore\u2019s financial services sector, and with the rest of the Singapore Government to achieve Singapore\u2019s enhanced climate change and sustainability ambitions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tan will take on the role from current Chief Sustainability Officer Dr Darian McBain, who will leave MAS in December. McBain will take on an advisory role from October 17 until her departure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ravi Menon, Managing Director, MAS, said:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote\"><p>\u201cPromoting sustainable finance and climate resilience have grown significantly in the last two years as areas of priority for MAS.
