{"id":14382,"date":"2023-11-08T15:31:34","date_gmt":"2023-11-08T15:31:34","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.esgtoday.com\/?p=14382"},"modified":"2023-11-08T17:12:38","modified_gmt":"2023-11-08T17:12:38","slug":"finance-sustainability-professional-education-platform-xunlocked-raises-6-million","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.esgtoday.com\/finance-sustainability-professional-education-platform-xunlocked-raises-6-million\/","title":{"rendered":"Finance &#038; Sustainability Professional Education Platform xUnlocked Raises $6 Million"},"content":{"rendered":"<!--themify_builder_content-->\n<div id=\"themify_builder_content-14382\" data-postid=\"14382\" class=\"themify_builder_content themify_builder_content-14382 themify_builder tf_clear\">\n    <\/div>\n<!--\/themify_builder_content-->\n\n\n<p>Professional education platform xUnlocked announced today that it has raised \u00a35 million (USD$6.1 million) to support its growth, through a Series A investment by professional and vocational education company BPP Education Group.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Founded in 2017, UK-based <a href=\"https:\/\/xunlocked.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">xUnlocked<\/a> provides training for professionals through its platforms <a href=\"https:\/\/financeunlocked.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Finance Unlocked<\/a>, focused on financial training and development for business professionals, and <a href=\"https:\/\/sustainabilityunlocked.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Sustainability Unlocked<\/a>, launched by the company in 2021, which provides on-demand sustainability and ESG courses. xUnlocked clients include Santander, The London Stock Exchange, Airbus, GSK, Oxford Said Business School, and Royal Bank of Canada.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>BPP Education Group provides education and training in law, business, finance, accountancy, banking, technology, psychology, and nursing both through relationships with corporates and directly to consumers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Graham Gaddes, BPP CEO said:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote\">\n<p>\u201cThe investment in, and partnership with, xUnlocked introduces a new vertical of programmes into the BPP portfolio.
